Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool assignment in Hyannis, MA. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while working collaboratively with healthcare teams in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient care using the nursing process and maintain accurate patient records

Perform patient assessments including physical, psychological, and discharge planning

Administer and monitor medications and patient responses

Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education
-
Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing informatics systems
-
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
-
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
-
Collaborate with physicians and allied healthcare professionals regarding patient care
-
Maintain ongoing professional development and nursing competencies
-
Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
Requirements
-
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current Massachusetts RN License
-
Current BLS Certification
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Must pass Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
-
BSN preferred
-
Telemetry experience required for Cardiac Unit
-
ACLS Certification preferred
-
Experience managing cardiac patients preferred
-
Experience with post-cardiac surgery, post-cardiac cath, oncology, dialysis, orthopedic, neuro, or surgical patients is a plus
-
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred for oncology units
