Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate patient records while maintaining a high standard of customer service and compliance with all regulations. Must be bilingual in English and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.

Accurately count, measure, and label prescriptions.

Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems.

Process insurance claims and resolve third-party billing issues.

Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock, placing orders, and removing expired medications.

Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns within scope of practice.

Comply with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.

Assist in the preparation of compounded medications (if applicable).

Perform clerical duties such as answering phones and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred or required based on state regulations.

State licensure as a pharmacy technician (if applicable).

Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
