Dispatcher/Customer Service
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client to find a skilled Dispatcher to join their team. This role is essential to ensuring seamless communication between office staff and field personnel, coordinating assignments, and responding to both emergency and non-emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and messages, assess urgency, and prioritize appropriately.

Coordinate and relay critical information to field staff in real time.

Dispatch personnel, vehicles, and/or units as needed; provide pre-arrival instructions to mechanics.

Utilize multi-line telephone and communications systems efficiently.

Translate incoming details into the proper internal codes.

Perform emergency dispatch and crisis intervention services, including for entrapments.

Ask probing questions to determine caller needs through analysis and anticipation.

Assist mechanics in completing and submitting time tickets.

Enter and maintain accurate records in databases.

Support the internal operations team with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 1 year of related dispatch or coordination experience.

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to execute instructions quickly and accurately.

Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to operate or quickly learn various communication systems.
Work Environment
-
Office-based role using standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, filing systems).
-
Sedentary position with occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs) and filing duties.

Frequent interaction with mechanics and field staff.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
