About the Role:
Pine Star Construction LLC is seeking skilled Framers/Carpenters to join our dynamic team in Salt Lake City, UT. If you have a passion for building and craftsmanship, this is your chance to contribute to exciting residential and commercial projects while working with a supportive team. We are looking for a few skilled frames to work in MAUI Hawaii ASAP lodging and plane will be paid for. Text or call Dave @ 385-209-5430
Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and work details.
- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards in compliance with building codes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior carpenters and apprentices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a framer or carpenter in residential or commercial construction.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
