Job Title: Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech)
Location: Canton, GA 30115
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Thursday – Saturday
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist to join a sleep disorders center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing patients and equipment for sleep studies, monitoring polysomnographic recordings, and accurately documenting findings in accordance with established protocols. This role involves working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for overnight sleep studies
- Monitor polysomnographic recordings and identify abnormalities
- Document observations and results in compliance with facility policies
- Recognize and respond to sleep disorders, respiratory events, and movement arousals
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout testing procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in polysomnography or sleep lab setting
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required
- Current and unrestricted certification in one of the following:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – Preferred
- Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep staging, and related abnormalities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
