Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language services in educational settings across K-12 schools located in Port Saint Lucie and Ft. Pierce, FL. This full-time or part-time contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, aligning with the academic calendar from August 11, 2025, through June 2, 2026. Assignments vary by school and grade level, with caseloads predominately serving early childhood through middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy and support in on-site school environments.
  • Manage caseloads primarily including VPK to 8th-grade students, as well as middle and high school students, catering to diverse needs including ASD, EBD, and medically fragile units.
  • Collaborate with speech-language teachers and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Provide therapy to off-site early childhood programs such as Head Start when assigned.
  • For Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), ensure services are provided under appropriate supervision.
  • Adapt to various assignments which may include DHH cluster sites and in-district units.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida licensure for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs is preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations.
  • Willingness to provide on-site services and flexibility in assignment locations.
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLPA candidates with required supervision arrangements.
