Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CF/CCC) on a full-time contract, with placements available at a single school for the academic year. This role offers the chance to impact diverse learners, as assignments may be in Hazelwood (serving all ages), Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary), or Jennings (working across all age groups). The position spans from August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027, aligning with the school calendar and subject to any changes by the school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP license (Clinical Fellow or CCC accepted)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred
- Proficient in providing speech/language therapy for various ages and needs
- Prepared to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements (including fingerprinting and drug screening)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, families, and students
- Enthusiastic about supporting educational and developmental growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine student speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated student support
- Deliver engaging direct therapy services tailored to each student’s goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student academic success
