We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This contract-to-hire position plays a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the accurate processing of orders.
Responsibilities:

Handle inbound customer calls ito assist with order placement, product inquiries, and general support

Accurately enter and process customer orders using the AS400 system

Communicate with production, shipping, and inventory teams to confirm product availability and lead times

Make warm outbound calls to existing customers in the afternoon to follow up on open orders, provide updates, and strengthen customer relationships

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Support internal teams by relaying customer feedback and identifying potential issues
Qualifications:

Prior experience in customer service within a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred

Familiarity with AS400 or other ERP/order entry systems is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
