Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Looking to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students? An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated School Psychologist to support one school on a full-time, contract basis for the upcoming academic year. This onsite role plays a pivotal part in guiding student success and collaborating closely with the Special Education (SPED) team.
As a valued member of the educational community, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students in K-12 classrooms
- Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and the SPED team to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Deliver direct and consultative support to students, families, and staff
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes student social-emotional growth
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active School Psychologist License in Washington
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and compliance
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Approachable, flexible, and committed to supporting diverse learners
