Overview
Oakhill Day School is seeking a 4th Grade Teacher. An innovative, energetic, and collaborative teacher is needed to join our Intermediate Team for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate should be internally motivated to follow our mission - challenge, know, value and inspire students to be the best they can be.
We are seeking an individual who:

Full-time, contracted for the school year with opportunities to teach in the summer program.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that skillfully enhances the written curriculum and inspires student curiosity.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, planning, and assessment
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development
- Contribute to the broader life of the school community
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Relevant teaching or professional experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility, professionalism, and a growth mindset
