We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Milwaukie, Oregon. This contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, PeopleSoft, and a proven ability to manage complex data sets with precision.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile numerous accounts each day, identifying anomalies and addressing discrepancies efficiently.
• Process payments, manage exceptions, and track held payments while adhering to customer-specific criteria.
• Develop and automate procedures to streamline reporting and communication processes.
• Conduct detailed credit analysis and accounts receivable reviews to support financial decision-making.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Release and print payments in alignment with organizational policies and customer requirements.
• Monitor incoming funding and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Handle multiple detailed tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong experience in full-cycle accounting, including accounts receivable and credit analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with prior experience in AI automation and Power Automate.
• Advanced proficiency in PeopleSoft and/or Oracle ERP systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to navigate complex systems, databases, and programs with technical aptitude.
• Strong skills in business writing and communication with attention to detail.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
