Connections Personnel is hiring for a long temporary Office Assistant/Front Desk (Support Staff) for our client located in the Union County Area. Looking for a candidate that can multi task and handle a busy front desk for a local school system. Must have a Bachelors Degree and 1-2 Years of background in Accounts Payables.
Responsibilities:
- Handle walk in traffic for a very busy academic department office where multitasking is often required.
- Listen to staff, faculty, student issue, concern, and/or question and offer assistance and/or direction accordingly.
- Intake details of issues that should be relayed to the Department Chairperson or other persons as appropriate.
- Answer phones.
- Receive incoming deliveries.
- Relay messages to members of the department.
- Assist Department Chairperson and their staff as needed on small scale routine tasks.
- Routine office computer skills (Word, Excel, Email) & office knowledge (photocopier, phone).
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree plus 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Must have Microsoft Office.
- Must be available to cover from February to the end of June with the possibility of extending.
- Must speak English.
- Drug test/background checks done prior to starting.
Schedule: 830am-430pm Monday thru Friday 35 hour work week.
Salary: $20/hr- $22/hr
