Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
Join a leading global company in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. This role supports various industries including power, automotive, ammunition, coinage, construction materials, refrigeration, and electronics. Our Delaware location is expanding and is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Assembler roles on the 1st and 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Follow production orders, company procedures, and directions from the supervisor to prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.
- Perform assembly operations using power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
- Prepare parts for assembly by grinding, blasting, and cutting metals.
- Execute assembly according to company procedures and documents while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Maintain equipment by applying preventative maintenance as instructed.
- Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to enhance efficiency and quality.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficiency in using standard hand and power tools such as drills and grinders.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ years of manufacturing or production work experience.
- 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience, including working from drawings and diagrams.
- 1+ years of industrial machine operation.
- Team player mentality.
- Willingness to work other shifts as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
