We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team!
ANTICIPATED START DATE: Immediate Hire
POSITION TYPE: Full-time
LOCATION: Various job sites in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee
TRAVEL: Required; Site Superintendents typically remain on-site from four months up to one year.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Demonstrated experience as a Site Superintendent on projects exceeding $1.6 million in value.
· Minimum five years of direct experience in commercial construction, including project estimating, site supervision, reading plans, and effective problem-solving.
EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience considered.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Site Superintendent oversees all phases of construction, from pre-construction plan review through to project completion. Key responsibilities include:
· Reviewing and interpreting construction plans
· Developing and maintaining aggressive project schedules
· Daily coordination and communication with Project Managers
· Management of subcontractors
· Ongoing client communications
· Providing weekly progress updates and photographs to the Project Management Team
· Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to lift up to 70 pounds for site layout and material handling
· Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (certification preferred)
· Capability to traverse uneven terrain and stand or walk job sites for extended periods
· Willingness and ability to travel to remote job sites (up to 4–5 hours from office)
· Familiarity with quality assurance and construction safety protocols
· Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and time management skills
· Professional representation in meetings with inspectors and clients
· Strong interpersonal abilities, including tact, diplomacy, and leadership
· Experience managing multiple subcontractors
· Prior construction experience on projects valued at over $1,000,000 USD
