This assignment places you within a recently established, state-of-the-art 12-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit that specializes in critically ill neuro patients. Expand your clinical expertise and strengthen your resume as you manage complex cases related to traumatic brain injury, stroke, aneurysms, status epilepticus, and other neurological emergencies. This setting offers exposure to advanced ICU practices and new technologies, providing valuable insight into emergent care approaches and multidisciplinary team leadership.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (variable shifts may be required)
Qualifications:
- Active NY Registered Nurse license (New York licensure required)
- Minimum two (2) years recent experience in an ICU/acute care setting
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
