Compensation: $2623 - $3161 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

In your capacity as a Registered Nurse focused on Labor and Delivery, you will be essential in overseeing, coordinating, and providing nursing care for patients across all age groups under a physician's guidance. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Evaluating data related to the patient's physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual requirements based on their age and development.
- Documenting and reporting all observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in the patient's condition.
- Employing the nursing process to guide and deliver patient care, which includes formulating, implementing, revising, and assessing a formal care plan.
- Administering medications in accordance with the "Five Rights of Medication Administration."
- Providing educational resources to patients and/or their families that are suitable for their age and learning capabilities.
- Establishing and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients, families, and visitors.
- Prioritizing and organizing daily tasks to ensure optimal patient care.
- Demonstrating annual competency in designated areas of responsibility.
- Upholding patient and employee confidentiality at all times.
- Adhering to the facility's Code of Conduct.
- For Charge Nurse positions: Assigning staff, mentoring, leading performance improvement initiatives, and managing emergency situations.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree (B.S.N.), Associate's degree (A.D.N.), or Diploma from an accredited nursing institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
- Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
