Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple educational settings! This role focuses on providing expert psychological services to K-12th grade learners, with responsibilities heavily centered on assessments, evaluations, and direct involvement in behavior plans and crisis intervention. The assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through May 8, 2027, and offers a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with potential flexibility for part-time arrangements. Locations are spread throughout several buildings, offering dynamic experiences in various learning environments.
Preferred candidates are comfortable managing evolving caseloads and supporting Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Candidates with experience in virtual or remote (VOCO) service delivery are encouraged to apply, as flexible options may be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Indiana Educator License and School Psychologist license required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong proficiency in psychological assessments and evaluations
- Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing behavior plans
- Crisis intervention abilities
- Confident attending and contributing to IEP meetings
- Adaptable to varied school environments and shifting caseloads
- Preferred: Experience with telepractice or virtual consultation
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and reporting
- Participate in student support teams for academic and behavioral concerns
- Intervene in crisis situations as part of multidisciplinary team
- Establish and monitor behavior intervention strategies
- Coordinate with staff, students, and families to ensure support
- Actively contribute in IEP meetings and documentation
- Travel between multiple district buildings
