This position will involve managing grievance and NLRB cases, handling communications, and providing clerical support ensure the smooth operations of departments. Responsibilities:
- Support the assistant department head in maintaining and updating grievance files and the DMS/Access database.
- Keep office calendars updated and manage general correspondence regarding grievance status changes.
- Help maintain the filing systems for grievance awards and decisions.
- Process NLRB charges, update hard copy files and the Access database, and send notifications to relevant parties.
- Handle incoming calls for the departments.
- Review and distribute all incoming mail for the departments.
- Perform various clerical tasks, including copying, filing, assembling binders, and scanning documents.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks across two departments and meeting deadlines.
