We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for experienced First-Line Supervisors of Police and Detectives to support a leading AI research lab working on next-generation machine learning systems.

This project focuses on applying real-world law enforcement leadership expertise to help AI teams better understand operational workflows in policing and investigative environments. Professionals in this role will contribute their domain knowledge by creating realistic tasks and reviewing deliverables that reflect common supervisory and investigative scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Create structured deliverables based on common requests within the law enforcement supervision and investigative domain
Contribute professional expertise to help diagnose and solve real-world policing and investigative challenges
Review peer-developed deliverables to improve research quality and domain accuracy
Provide detailed written explanations reflecting real law enforcement supervisory workflows
Ensure tasks reflect authentic investigative processes, operational decision-making, and command structures

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

4+ years of professional experience as a police supervisor, detective supervisor, or law enforcement leadership role
Strong understanding of investigative procedures, policing operations, and command responsibilities
Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and clarity
Ability to translate real-world law enforcement workflows into structured tasks and scenarios
Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate operational reasoning

Educational Background:

Background in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Public Safety, or related fields preferred

Nice to Have

Experience supervising investigative teams or managing law enforcement operations
Experience with investigative procedures, case management, and operational coordination
