- BLS
- State licensure (North Carolina)
- Certified in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI
- Job Details
- Assists physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of heart, peripheral vessels and other required structures.
- Controls radiographic equipment to acquire quality images.
- Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and each procedure.
- Documents data necessary for patient records, charge entry and image archive.
- Delivers pre-, during, and post-procedure patient care.
- Operates and maintains cardiac catheterization lab equipment.
- May perform lead worker responsibilities such as training and education of staff.
- Job Requirements
- Graduation from a Radiologic Science program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health and Accreditation, or from a special procedures program, or from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Completion of a course training in cardiac catheterization (transcripts required).
- Certified in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI.
- Greater than 2 years experience at a large hospital Cardiac Cath Lab providing STEMI care and advanced Cardiac Cath procedures including pulmonary embolism, cardiogenic shock, ECMO, diagnostic and interventional treatment of CAD.
- Schedule Information
- Days shift.
- 10 hours per day.
- 40 hours per week.
- Unit Specific Information
- Cardiac Catheterization Lab providing STEMI care and advanced cardiac catheterization procedures including pulmonary embolism, cardiogenic shock, ECMO, diagnostic and interventional treatment of CAD.
