We are seeking dedicated Construction Laborers for our Ixonia location. You will be involved in building wood-framed metal pole buildings, requiring skills in reading a tape measure, using hand and power tools, and regularly lifting between 50-100 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Build wood-framed metal pole buildings.
- Read and interpret construction plans accurately.
- Dig and install footings, frame walls, and install windows, doors, and door openings.
- Install various siding and roofing materials including hi-rib steel, shingles, wood, and other materials.
- Finish structures with metal and wood trims.
- Maintain and apply safety and construction procedures daily.
- Collaborate effectively with crew members in a respectful and organized manner.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in construction and carpentry.
- Experience with hand and power tools, including skill saws, table saws, drills, and nail guns.
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs regularly.
- Experience in rough carpentry and sheet metal work.
- Minimum of 6 months carpentry experience, which can be validated through references.
- Comfortable working at heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License.
- Class A CDL is a plus and offers an automatic pay increase.
- Experience in carpentry can include high school shop class or construction projects with friends/family.

Work Environment
Work outdoors 100% of the time in all weather conditions. You will be part of a 3-4 man crew, working primarily out of the Dodgeville location. The dress code requires pants, a T-shirt, and 6" leather boots, with PPE provided. Work hours start at 6:00 am and can extend to 4:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, with up to 60 hours per week available. Breaks include a 15-minute morning and afternoon break, plus a half-hour lunch.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
