CNC Machinist | Holt, MI
Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking CNC Machinists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to optimize production.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components, ensuring proper material handling.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality control standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming, editing, and optimization.
- Knowledge of various materials and their machining properties.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
- Experience operating advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
- Demonstrated ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience with 4 or 5-axis machining
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
