Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.

• Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

• Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient care and efficiency.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma with current telemetry certification.

• Strong commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Strong focus on achieving performance targets and accountability.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

• Excellent communication skills for patient and team interaction.

• Proven ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

• Knowledge of patient safety protocols and maintaining a safe environment.

• Experience with electronic health records and documentation standards.

• Understanding of quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.
