Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist in Portland, OR, supporting student well-being and academic success within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and interventions to support student mental health and learning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations regarding special education services
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure for the state of Oregon
- Experience in school-based psychological services and assessments
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
