We are currently actively recruiting for this role!

Role: Deburr Tech (Microscope)

Location: Elma NY

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: $37/hour with a 50 hour guarantee of work

Mileage to/from site location from your home: .725 cents per mile reimbursement

Duration: 6 Months+

Per diem: $150/day

Pay: Weekly on Friday's

Shift: 1st shift

Microscope Deburr Technician

Requirements & Expectations

Core Requirements

• Experience performing precision deburring on small, handheld components
• Ability to work under a stereo microscope (10x magnification) on a continuous basis
• Proven capability working with various metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, and tool steel
• Strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for intricate, detailed work
• Ability to follow work instructions and maintain consistency in repetitive processes

Technical Expectations

• Perform high-detail deburring to remove all burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
• Work within extremely tight quality expectations (down to .0005”)
• Use manual/handheld deburring tools with precision and control
• Evaluate part features including:
• • Burrs and sharp edges
  • Edge breaks
  • Surface finish
  • Hole breakouts
• Maintain continuous microscope work with sustained focus and accuracy

Quality & Accountability

• Ensure 100% removal of burrs and sharp edges (quality-critical role)
• Identify and escalate non-conformances or irregularities when observed
• Follow priority order: Safety → Quality → Quantity
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in a precision-driven environment

Performance Expectations

• Emphasis on precision and consistency over speed, while maintaining steady output
• Ability to perform repetitive, high-focus tasks for extended periods
• Maintain clean and organized work habits aligned with quality standards

Training & Adaptability

• Ability to quickly ramp up (typically within a few days for experienced candidates)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific deburring standards and processes
