Job Description

The Parts Warehouse Associate plays a key role in receiving, organizing, and distributing parts and materials to support internal service operations and customer needs. You will manage inventory accurately, fulfill orders in a timely manner, and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment while working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer and internal orders with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist customers and technicians with parts lookup, selection, and retrieval.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through proper labeling, tracking, and regular cycle counts.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse areas to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
  • Follow established warehouse procedures and safety standards at all times.
  • Use RF scan guns and warehouse management systems (WMS) to process and track inventory movements.
  • Support general labor tasks in the warehouse as needed, including loading, unloading, and staging materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth parts flow and timely service support.

Essential Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience, including parts handling or general labor in a warehouse setting.
  • Hands-on experience using RF scan guns for inventory processing.
  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), any system is acceptable.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use inventory systems or ERP software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Good organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and efficient retrieval of parts.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a parts associate or in parts inventory management.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Familiarity with general warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Strong communication skills to assist customers and technicians effectively.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of warehouse and general labor tasks as needed.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse setting with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, generally around 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and moving of materials up to 50 pounds. You will work in a non-climate-controlled environment, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. The warehouse uses RF scan guns and warehouse management systems (WMS) as part of daily operations, and adherence to safety standards and a clean, organized workspace is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of Belden, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
