Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an LTAC ICU position requiring a LA or compact license, with ACLS, BLS, and Epic experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting
- Patient ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:6
- Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 to 19:15
- Block scheduling may be considered
- Special procedures include TPN administration, wound care, drain and foley management, and narcotic administration
- Epic EMR system experience required
- Responsibilities include managing patients with complex acute care needs and performing specialized procedures
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- In emergency events, staff may be assigned to or required to remain on an Emergency Team as directed by management
- Paid participation in Emergency Team is communicated during each event
- Requests for time off must be discussed during the interview

- Active LA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Candidates must reside at least 65 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted
- LTAC experience not required
