Our client in Groton, Connecticut is seeking a professional and dependable Receptionist for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while helping keep front office operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage the front desk and maintain a welcoming office environment
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments and assist with calendar coordination
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and visitor information
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Assist with other office duties and special projects as needed


  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
