Location: Our Hospital - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Night Shift
Position Summary
This role provides leadership and support for the daily operations of the unit, ensuring safe and efficient patient care. The role includes responding to changes in patient conditions, overseeing inventory and equipment maintenance, and collaborating with management on budgeting and resource utilization. As needed, the individual may perform nursing duties and contribute to committee work within the organization.
Qualifications
Education
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure
- Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
- Must fulfill all requirements set by the state board of nursing.
Certification
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking during shifts.
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform job duties.
