Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for successfully manufacturing blood and blood components.

Considered applicants must have a high school diploma, transcript, or GED. A successful candidate must be on-time, reliable, good communicator, detail oriented, and work well with others. This position requires candidates to have reliable transportation, working telephone, standing for long periods of time, and ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 based on education and/or experience; additional pay if fluent in Spanish; PAID on-the-job training$500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Days: Monday through Thursday

Hours: 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (NIGHTS)

Position:

To successfully manufacture platelet products (PLAP) that meet FDA requirements for safety, potency and purity.

Qualifications:

• Dexterity
• Flexible schedule
• Computer skills preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manufacture conventional platelet products (PLAP)
• Ensure high quality product that meets FDA requirements for safety, potency and purity
• Inspect, verify and label conventional platelet products
• Provide sample platelet products for QC analysis
• Perform maintenance and quality control of equipment as appropriate
• Enter data of platelet products
• Seg blood/plasma components as determined by the lead
