FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a construction project in Clearwater, FL. This position is anticpated to start immediately and will last approximately 4 months on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for three local sites.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification is required.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 10+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Experience with fall protection, cranes, rigging, and confined space is required.
- Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
