Position Overview
As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. You'll serve as a knowledgeable resource for menu offerings, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure guests receive attentive, efficient service throughout their meal.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure
- Prepare dining areas and tables to ensure cleanliness and readiness for service
- Present menus and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
- Verify identification for guests purchasing alcoholic beverages
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, pricing, preparation methods, and promotions
- Process guest payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive guest experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or food service experience preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with guests and create memorable experiences
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service periods
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
- English communication skills required
