We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team remotely. As a key part of our procurement operations, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and communicating with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

This is a fully remote role, ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a structured environment and can manage tasks independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, process, and follow up on purchase orders (POs)

  • Verify order details, pricing, and availability with suppliers

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information

  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials

  • Assist with inventory management and stock level monitoring

  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any order discrepancies or delays

  • Update and maintain purchasing databases, spreadsheets, and reports

  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotes when necessary

  • Follow company purchasing policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support (remote experience is a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with purchasing or ERP software a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment

  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)

  • Experience working with vendors and suppliers

  • Knowledge of inventory control processes
