We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team remotely. As a key part of our procurement operations, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and communicating with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
This is a fully remote role, ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a structured environment and can manage tasks independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Create, process, and follow up on purchase orders (POs)

Verify order details, pricing, and availability with suppliers

Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information

Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials

Assist with inventory management and stock level monitoring

Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any order discrepancies or delays

Update and maintain purchasing databases, spreadsheets, and reports

Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotes when necessary

Follow company purchasing policies and procedures
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support (remote experience is a plus)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with purchasing or ERP software a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace
Preferred Qualifications
