Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $38.00 – $43.70 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

No nights, weekends, or holidays

Position Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations primarily related to women’s healthcare, including abdominal, obstetric, and small parts imaging. The role requires strong technical competency, accuracy in image acquisition, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Responsibilities

Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly calibrated and fully operational prior to procedures

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to established clinical protocols

Maintain high standards of infection control by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and procedure rooms after each patient

Accurately document patient information and imaging results

Communicate imaging findings to referring providers as directed

Follow up on urgent cases and assist with timely reporting of results

Coordinate transfer of imaging data to external radiology partners when necessary

Support efficient clinic workflow and maintain organized imaging operations
Education & Certification Requirements
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred
-
Active ARDMS registry (OB/GYN, General, or Vascular preferred)
-
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Professional Qualifications
-
Strong knowledge of women’s health ultrasound imaging protocols
-
Excellent attention to detail in image acquisition and documentation

Ability to maintain equipment and follow infection prevention standards

Effective communication skills with physicians, staff, and patients

Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
Employment Requirements

Maintain active professional licensure/certification as required

Successfully complete background screening, drug screening, and health clearance requirements
