Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 educational setting located in the Las Vegas area. This contract position will run from early January through late May, offering a chance to support a diverse student population with varied caseloads. The role requires an on-site presence with no virtual or hybrid work options and is suited for professionals who have completed their Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed.
- Active Nevada Department of Education certification and Nevada SLP license.
- Preferred candidates will hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF).
- Experience levels from entry-level to seasoned practitioners are considered, with pay rates reflective of experience.
- Willingness to work full-time with on-site assignment at various schools within the district.
