Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Birmingham, Michigan. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including those in the automotive industry, while managing key financial operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in QuickBooks, and capable of handling complex bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Collaborate with clients and controllers to address financial needs and provide solutions.
• Assist automotive dealership clients with industry-specific bookkeeping requirements.
• Utilize QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) to maintain and update financial records.
• Conduct payroll processing and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Perform intermediate-level tasks in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Support fraud prevention efforts by analyzing financial data and identifying irregularities.
• Provide on-site assistance to clients as needed for interim bookkeeping support.• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, with a strong track record in financial management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online versions.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
• Advanced knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to client-specific needs.
