Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable Shipper/Receiver 1 to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory transactions, and maintaining accurate records using ERP systems. The position also includes working with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment and receipt of goods. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, ERP proficiency, and a willingness to support various logistics and manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Pick and pack customer and departmental orders, including non-routine requests.
  2. Ship domestic and international orders using small parcel and freight carriers; create shipping documents via carrier platforms.
  3. Put away materials in temperature-controlled or designated storage locations; update locations in ERP system.
  4. Move inventory physically and electronically to maintain accurate location tracking.
  5. Identify opportunities for warehouse space optimization.
  6. Perform inventory transactions, identify non-conforming materials, and complete cycle counts as required.
  7. Enter accurate part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, quantities, and document references into ERP systems.
  8. Update the Outbound Shipment tracking report in Microsoft Teams as needed.
  9. Process and ship Dangerous Goods while maintaining proper certifications.
  10. Serve as the primary back-up for the Warehouse Receiving function.
  11. Handle Equipment Repair processing and manage related work orders.
  12. Act as the primary back-up for processing manufacturing work orders.
  13. Maintain flexibility with changing priorities and assist with overtime as needed.
  14. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


Required Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing and logistics.
  3. Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or an equivalent.
  4. Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  5. Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  6. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  9. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.


Preferred Qualifications (if any)

  1. Familiarity with Dangerous Goods handling and shipping processes.
  2. Experience in a manufacturing or repair facility.
  3. Prior exposure to working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, contract manufacturers, or supply chain vendors.


Certifications (if any)

  1. Valid forklift certification.
  2. Dangerous Goods shipping certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
