Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Material Handler for a temp-to-hire position in Westbrook, ME. In this role, you will work in a food manufacturing warehouse, managing various tasks in adverse temperatures. This position offers the opportunity to advance to full-time employment and build a career within a supportive and long-standing workforce.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading products.
- Verifying quantities of products.
- Scanning products in and out of inventory.
- Handling materials safely and efficiently.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or material handling setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Experience with inventory systems.
- Experience in food manufacturing.

Work Environment
The facility in Westbrook houses about 120 employees, with around 80 in production. The warehouse is clean and organized, adhering to food safety standards. The dress code includes shoes and jeans, with hair nets and smocks provided. Work hours start between 6am and 7am and finish around 3pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Maine.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
