This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours available to accommodate your schedule. The role primarily involves one-on-one therapy sessions as well as case management responsibilities to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized physical therapy services to students in a school environment
- Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions tailored to student needs and goals
- Manage cases effectively, maintaining thorough documentation and communication with educational staff and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate therapy plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize outcomes
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the overall educational success of students
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy licensure with experience in school-based therapy preferred
- Skills in pediatric physical therapy within both educational and healthcare settings
- Strong case management capabilities including organization and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with students, families, and school personnel
