Associated Women's Healthcare is a busy OB/GYN practice is looking for an addition to our front office staff. We are seeking a friendly, energetic personality that is willing to learn to fill our Front Office position. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and work well with a team. Responsibilities will include all front office duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, reviewing finances with patients, processing payments, insurance verification and other front office duties. The candidate must have excellent customer service, strong knowledge of medical insurance, data entry skills and work well with a team.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
Check-in and check-out
Insurance verification
Reviewing Finances & Billing
Patient collections
Scheduling appointments
Answering phones
Scanning and Faxing
Minimum requirements:
2 years of experience working as a medical front office receptionist, preferably in an OB/GYN specialty
2 years of experience in Medical Insurance Verification
2 years of experience in Billing and Claims
Outstanding phone etiquette and customer service skills
Highly proficient computer skills including experience with E-Clinical works EMR
