Title: QA Technician I
Location: Portland, OR – 97224
Duration: 12 Months
Shift will be 10a to 6:30p for first few months for training purposes then will move to 2nd shift - 2:30p -11:00p.
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through inspections, measurements, and adherence to established standards. this is a key role in maintaining compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform product sampling and detailed visual inspections
- Measure components using CMM and/or SmartScope, Calipers, Microscopes
- Determine product conformity to established quality requirement
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, or Science Education.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, ISO 9000, and ISO 13485
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with quality control software or data entry systems
