Title: QA Technician I
Location: Portland, OR – 97224
Duration: 12 Months
Shift will be 10a to 6:30p for first few months for training purposes then will move to 2nd shift - 2:30p -11:00p.
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through inspections, measurements, and adherence to established standards. this is a key role in maintaining compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform product sampling and detailed visual inspections</li>
<li>Measure components using CMM and/or SmartScope, Calipers, Microscopes</li>
<li>Determine product conformity to established quality requirement</li>
<li>Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Associate’s Degree in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, or Science Education.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of GMP, ISO 9000, and ISO 13485</li>
<li>Proficiency in basic math and computer skills</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
<ul>
<li>Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Familiarity with quality control software or data entry systems</li>
</ul>
