Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications for mental health disorders
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Experience
- Possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Experience in basic life support and medication administration
- Knowledge of acute pain management and physiology
