Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is currently available at an elementary school serving early learners in a supportive inclusion setting. This role offers a unique chance to work with Pre-K and Kindergarten students who require specialized educational support, fostering their growth and development in an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of Pre-K and Kindergarten students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and individualized learning plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records to guide educational strategies
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere to encourage student engagement and success
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Special Education Educator certification with Adapted Endorsement
- Experience working with young learners in an early childhood special education setting
- Ability to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a school team
Location and Schedule:
- Rossville Elementary School, Rossville, GA
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract position from ASAP through May 22nd, 2026
