Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathe machines to perform turning operations on metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor machining operations to ensure precision and quality.
• Perform tool changes, machine offsets, and adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in CNC machining preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating CNC lathes.
• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming fundamentals.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
