Nursing Director - Emergency Department

Job Description

The Administrative Director Emergency Services shall direct, supervise and over-see operations of the main campus Emergency Department, the Off Campus Emergency Department, and Emergency Management. Maintains a Liaison relationship to all clinical/nursing directors. Patient satisfaction and rotates through AOC.

Minimum Education/Licensure/Certifications:

• Current Valid Florida RN Licensure
• BLS Certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Excellent Interpersonal and Analytical Skills
• This position requires knowledge of all aspects and details of patient care services; this includes TJC standards, Provisions of the FL Nurse Practice Act, Infection Control and Quality Improvement Practices.

Minimum Experience:

• 2-3 Years Previous Senior Level Management Experience in an Acute Care Facility
