Job Description
The EHS Coordinator will support manufacturing operations by overseeing environmental health and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe workplace. This role involves managing compliance audits, training programs, incident investigations, and sustainability initiatives. Reporting to both the Facility Manager and Operations Manager, the Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining safety standards and environmental stewardship within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with environmental health and safety regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
- Manage incident reporting and investigations
- Coordinate and deliver safety and environmental training programs
- Oversee environmental management and sustainability initiatives
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure documentation control
- Analyze safety data to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and update EHS policies and emergency response plans
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in environmental health and safety roles
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations
- Proficient in risk assessment and incident investigation
- Experience in delivering safety training and compliance audits
- Strong communication, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Skilled in data analysis related to EHS metrics
- Familiarity with wastewater management is a plus
