Job Description

The EHS Coordinator will support manufacturing operations by overseeing environmental health and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe workplace. This role involves managing compliance audits, training programs, incident investigations, and sustainability initiatives. Reporting to both the Facility Manager and Operations Manager, the Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining safety standards and environmental stewardship within the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with environmental health and safety regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
  • Manage incident reporting and investigations
  • Coordinate and deliver safety and environmental training programs
  • Oversee environmental management and sustainability initiatives
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure documentation control
  • Analyze safety data to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and update EHS policies and emergency response plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in environmental health and safety roles
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations
  • Proficient in risk assessment and incident investigation
  • Experience in delivering safety training and compliance audits
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Skilled in data analysis related to EHS metrics
  • Familiarity with wastewater management is a plus
