Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Chicago, IL. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning needs and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing academic or behavioral concerns
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate intervention outcomes to ensure effective student progress
  • Assist in crisis response and prevention initiatives within the school community

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license as required by Illinois state standards
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a public or private school setting
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data interpretation, and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse populations
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
