Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Rotating weekend requirements up to 2 per 4-week schedule
\n• No on-call requirements but may be placed on-call if unit or hospital has low census
\n• Floating requirements when census or acuity is low - may be floated to work as sitter or help with CNA duties
\n• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
\n• Ensure quality care is provided in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
\n• Handle emergency and crisis situations with extensive standing and walking required
\n• Perform heavy physical tasks including positioning, pushing and transferring patients or equipment
\n• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
\n• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
\n• BLS Certification from AHA required
\n• ACLS Certification from AHA required
\n• PALS Certification from AHA required (or ENPC)
\n• TNCC or ATCN certification required
\n• CPI or equivalent preferred
\n• Must demonstrate manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and visual/hearing acuity within normal limits
