Job Description

The Director of Distribution and Logistics will lead teams responsible for domestic and international customer experience, warehousing, distribution, and logistics for product and loaner kits at the Lewisville location. This role involves collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Planning & Procurement, and internal/external customers to meet or exceed service level commitments for product delivery. The Director will also deliver targeted KPIs, budgets, and forecasted targets, identifying best practices involving process, talent, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team by recruiting and retaining world-class, diverse talent.
  • Set the tone for excellence in servicing customer needs and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead efforts to create a competitive advantage within the order to cash cycle by deploying best practices in sales order, field inventory, and loaner inventory management.
  • Contribute to financial performance optimization through sound inventory management strategies and fostering strategic partnerships with customers and distributors.
  • Manage sales order processing, inventory requisitions, field inventory, and warehouse operations resources to meet or exceed Sales and Operations targets.
  • Maximize logistics of the inventory management system through technology efficiencies and accuracies, ensuring compliance with Quality and GMP.
  • Deploy best practices to standardize processes, systems, and tools to minimize redundancy, reduce cycle times, increase inventory availability, and optimize inventory investment.

Essential Skills

  • 10-15 years of experience in Integrated Order to Cash Cycle Management, preferably in complex industries.
  • Ability to lead large, complex teams and processes delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills for handling crucial conversations.
  • Proven leadership as a change agent capable of driving change at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience in process re-engineering and continuous improvement projects.
  • Understanding of Order to Cash processes, including Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Operational financial acumen regarding cash flow, margin improvement, and inventory optimization.
  • Experience assembling and leading strong integrated teams with coaching/mentoring skills.
  • Knowledge of International Regulatory, GMP, FDA, and ISO Standards.
  • Experience with ERP (Oracle), Inventory/WMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and 3PL applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field; a master’s degree is desired.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $175000.00 - $216000.00/yr.

full benefits - dental, medical, vision, 401k plus match. They will send benefits option packages once we have someone for them
