Extension is seeking a Cost Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
- Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Maintain and enhance standard costing and inventory valuation processes
- Track and report on cost variances and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Partner cross-functionally with operations to ensure accurate cost data
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and working capital metrics
- Contribute to ERP system utilization and process improvements
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Cost accounting experience or strong exposure highly desired
- Strong Excel skills and ERP experience required
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to learn and grow
Salary Information
- $90k - $100k/year
